And now for something completely different…

Some of you may have noticed that we’ve been posting a little less frequently the past few months. While this is in part because we’ve finally hit the point where we’ve recorded all of our staple recipes–and thus can only post when we’re feeling really creative–it’s also because we’ve been insanely busy with other stuff too.

You probably knew that Amy is a professional artist. Until just recently, she was busting her hump to prepare for a solo show she just had in Chicago at Northeastern Illinois University (the show looked awesome!) as well as an artist talk for the show closing (just this last Friday!).

She finally gets a month here in Reykjavik to explore some new work without any impending deadlines.

For my part, I’ve spent the last few months getting everything in place for the release of my latest album, Cabin Fever Dreaming.
